I teach General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI).  The pages on this website are based on the same materials that I have developed for teaching General Chemistry.

Here is how I use this website in my teaching:

1. At the beginning of a new unit, I have students read through all of the pages for that subject area on this website to give students an overview of what we will be covering in that unit.
2. Then I teach the material, including labs, in the sequence shown by the web pages for that unit on this website.
3. Then I have have students reread the pages for that subject area on this website.
4. Then I have students work with the tutorial for that subject area in ChemTutor Excalibur to give them more practice working with the material that I have taught them and to reinforce each of the concepts for that subject area.
5. Then I give students a quiz or a test on that unit.

I hope you will find this website useful for chemistry help.  I welcome any feedback or suggestions that you might have.
